Eco-gas and eco-electricity

From our point of view, running an environmentally friendly hotel in Bavaria means more than only carrying the "Green Thought" image. Behind the scenes, too, our hotel lives by the principle of sustainability: We are operated with green electricity from a Bavarian run-of-river power plant and heat supplied by an eco-gas combined heat and power plant.

Our team lives sustainability

In addition to the fairly and sustainably produced uniforms of our staff, we have also established a paperless working system. All processes, from check-in, to shopping in the supermarket, to booking the launderette or calling up the menu in the restaurant, are digitalised and can be accessed via app. As a guest, you have a digital key to enter your apartment instead of a plastic card. Even your guest folder can be called up digitally for you via QR code. Not only does it save paper, it also makes all processes quick and practical.

Regional food and drinks

It doesn't matter whether you are catering for yourself or prefer to be catered for. We use food of first-class organic quality both in the restaurant and in our 24/7 supermarket. Whenever possible we offer local and seasonal produce and thereby support our region. In addition, we have completely changed our beverage selection to reusable glass bottles. As a nice side effect, breakfast, lunch and dinner are twice as tasty.

Environmentally friendly cleaning

We also think ecologically when it comes to cleaning our sustainable hotel in Munich. We do not use any chemicals, but instead work with gentle micro steam devices. With their 180° hot steam, they ensure efficient and environmentally friendly cleaning. In addition, our bed linen and terry towels are made of 100 per cent organic cotton. If you as a guest would like to share the idea of sustainability with us, you can waive daily apartment cleaning for short-term stays with the "Green Choice" and receive a complimentary drink at our hotel bar as a thank you.

Eco-gas and eco-electricity

Electric mobility still poses challenges for many travellers. Thus, it is even more important that hotels recognise the need for charging stations and offer their guests this option. MASEVEN provides charging stations in both hotels, on the inside as well as on the outside. E-bikes made from renewable raw materials

You might be surprised but there is a bicycle rental company in Bavaria that offers e-bikes and bicycles made of sustainable bamboo! We too, have given it some thought and, accordingly, created a broad range of offers for all our guests. Explore the city with one of our bamboo e-bikes and recharge it directly at the in-house charging stations. Because why not combine fun, flexibility and sustainability?
