By bike Munich’s English Garden is only about half an hour from our MASEVEN hotels. This green oasis in the middle of the city is perfect for an extensive bike tour in Munich and leads along the Isar river, over bridges and past sights like the Chinese Tower or the Monopteros. The tour is topped off with a rest in one of the 4 beer gardens.

Explore Munich's Castles

If you want to explore the castles of Munich, you can combine this perfectly with a bike tour. The route leads directly via the Viktualienmarkt, where you can pick up some snacks for a delicious picnic, and then to Nymphenburg Palace. After a cozy picnic break in the castle grounds (you’ll need to park your bikes here), you’ll continue along the Pasing-Nymphenburg Canal to Blutenburg Palace.

Bike Tour Along the Isar river

The Isar Cycle Path, which is about 300 km long, leads from Austria across Munich and up to Deggendorf. It can be perfectly divided into individual stages, so that depending on time and fun, a short bike ride in Munich or a whole day trip with a refreshing swim break at the Isar is possible. You can also combine the tour with a visit to Munich’s Zoo Hellabrunn!

Up the Olympic Hill by Mountain Bike

On a mountain bike tour to Munich`s Olympic Park, you will enjoy a variety of activities: The one-hour tour will take you across the city, and you will reach the park with the Olympic Tower, the Olympic Stadium with its remarkable tent-roof architecture and the Olympic Lake. After a short break, it gets sporty again with a surge up the Olympic Hill, where you will be rewarded with an awesome view over Munich.

Bike Tour to Schleißheim Castle

A somewhat longer bike tour will take you to Schleißheim Castle. On the almost 20 km long route, you will pass the Allianz Arena, which is ideal for a short sightseeing break halfway through the route. The route then continues along the Schleißheim Canal until you reach the crowning glory at Schleißheim Palace with its impressive gardens.

The Idyll of the Ammersee

On the 46 km long bike tour around the Ammersee you can enjoy the diverse nature around Munich. Either start comfortably by S-Bahn from Munich to Herrsching or for particularly ambitious cyclists also directly with the bike from the hotel to the lake. In addition to wonderful paths and beautiful natural idyll, there are also plenty of swimming spots, cafés and restaurants waiting for your visit.
